Angelos Politis

Angelos has been working in the financial services sector since 1995.

He was appointed General Manager and Chief Sales & Market Management Officer from 2008 to 2015 at Allianz Group in Greece having also the responsibility of the Group’s asset management operations. Prior to this role he held the positions of CEO and Managing Director at Allianz Mutual Funds Management S.A. from 1999 to 2008 and Investment Manager from 1995 to 1999.

From 1999 to 2015 he was member of the Executive Committee of Allianz Greece and Executive member of the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of Allianz Mutual Funds Management S.A.

Ηe holds a M.A. in International Banking and Financial Services from University of Reading, U.K. and a Maitrise in Economics from FACO in Paris, France.

He is a certified Investment Portfolio Manager (C) by the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission.
